Introduction

This game is my all time favourite, and I usually port it to every platform that I work with. Since the Commodore 64 version could fit in less than 64Kb, I aimed to make it as small as possible. This version contains all original intermissions and the latest edition includes every difficulty level, and even more user generated maps.
The original Windows port was made in the early 2000's using 320x240 screen mode that are no longer supported by today's monitors. So, what else could I do? I made an updated version for DirectX 11, that will hopefully be good for an other decade.

Appending the game (old version)

The game is only containing the original Commodore 64 graphics and sounds, but if you feel yourself to be a great graphic atrist, feel free to redraw all the tiles. The ZIP package contains an ART.ZIP file, containing all the tile graphics. There is an option in the game to import these grapics. For more information on redrawing Boulder Dash, check out the ReadMe.txt in the downloaded package.
