Introduction

The SMAC-80 is a fictional home computer of the 80's.
The Commodore 64 was the computer of "my choice" when I was a child, and it launched me on my game programmer career. I always wanted to design my own computer as a tribute to that era. This time has came.


About the simulation

The SMAC-80 is a precisely simulated architecture. Every components are accurately modeled and simulated, including graphics, sounds, floppy drive and many more.


Hardware features
- CPU with own instruction set, execution clock cycles and memory cache
- Segmented memory model with protection mechanism
- GFX chip, mono, multicolor graphics, CRT raster simulation and sprites
- Floppy drive
- AUDIO, ADSR generator and ADPCM wave playback
- Integrated BASIC interpreter, and assembler
- Built-in text editor, sprite maker, sound editor, character editor, memory and disk monitor
